As I was reading your article, I was eager to finish it and comment on the power of meditative prayer.

I was glad you mentioned it in your conclusion.

I agree with you that, more often than not, praying to God leaves us stagnant and inactive. Nothing's going to change if we don't take action. But I do believe some other forms of prayer, like meditative, have indeed significant effects on the brain. (Metta meditation or gratitude)

It's a matter of word-play too. (what we refer to as 'prayer'").
