I'm glad there's more awareness on the toxicity this industry provides. I'd also like to mention that this huge emphasis on self-help, transmits a tremendous and often unreasonable chank of responsibility to the individual: 'who you should become better, stronger, faster, more productive and successful. If you don't, it's your fault'.
This doctrine diminishes the importance of and impact the environment can have in all of us. Of course, we should all try to be responsible and independent individuals, but we're also part of a collective whole, shaping and being shaped. Let's not forget that. It's not 100% on us.
